Q and A

1.What is the best environment (home, school, work, etc.) for your learning? The best environment for learning in my opinion is being surrounded by people with similar goals or have a dedicated mind set while being able to relax.

2.Where do you choose to study? I choose to study in my living room because no one's there most of the time and it's quiet.

3.Where do you choose to work creatively? I choose to work in school because it's hard for me to get into the "workiing" mood at home where I'm subposed to be relaxed.

4.How do you work with others? I first see what needs to be done and collaboarte with group members to work as a group and not one person is controling everything. I like to see what I can do and how to get things done.

5.What is your favorite way of learning (listening, looking, doing, etc)? I like to listen and look because then I can learn to apply what I learned. Like in my marketing class, I read a lot in the textbook about marketing groups an other things but don't know what it is exactly.

6.What do you think are your talents or strengths (arts, writing, speaking, problem solving)? I know that my strenghts are my organization skills, getting along with others/in a group. Also my dedication for getting things done is strong. My presentation skills in terms of verbal needs work but I have done those kind of presentation and enjoy it when I get I get my words straight.

7.Where do your personal interests lie? My personal interest lie in my religion, plans to get into college, get my degrees, and move to Japan where I will find a get job where I will be a great asset to.

8.Do you check for accuracy and precision? Sometimes even though I slack off in that area especially when I e-mail people in a casual manner. I do know how to get work done the best way possible and thats when accuarcy and precision is top priority.

9.Are you persistent in developing your work? Only when I see a logical need to do so.

My formal presentation

My project proposal

A first I was thinking about continuing my project that I started on last semester in Youth in the media with Ms.Roth aka Mya. After a while of listening to other people project ides I finally came up a greater idea of doing something related to my marketing class. I want my project to relate to marketing so I would get a better sence of different marketing strategies and be an active learner in that field.
One of my fist steps in completing this project was giving out surveys to about 50 people (which I haven’t gotten back so they will be giving me another one) and analyze how they felt about the different advertising methods used by different organizations , why they use these methods and are they effective?. Further down the line I want to include videos about the many products that were the rave of a large majority of people, products that failed to attract a target market and why was one product more effective in its sale than the other.
Analyzing data that I gathered I would present what I have gotten to my fellow peers on my efforts and how this project went overall. I will inform them of the many marketing tactics used as I stated before and will potentially get them thinking about why things are advertised the way they do, the target market, and the message.
I look forward to what things I learn about the people I interview and present my findings in my end result.

A Change of plans : New Project Presentation

After thinking about my previouse project presentation I got bord with the fact that I would just be continuing on what I did last semester which was kind of a drag. Now I feel like doing a presntation on the affects of marketing on teenagers and or all people in genral. Since I'm taking a marketing course this would be an exciting project to relate back to class and the real world of businesse tactics.

My backwards plan would be the following.

10. Final edit
9. In memory of Brian
8. Credits
7.Add photos and music
6. Review it/Edit
5. Maybe create an video
4. Post on blog and powerpoint presentation
3. Tally results
2. Distribute questionairs
1. Create questions for teens

My materials list

1. Computer
2. Maybe a video camera
3. An iPhone (jk...but seriously)
Thats all for now!
